Four Seasons in Taupō
At Four Seasons Kindergarten, we are excited to share a special opportunity for someone who is a registered, trained EC kaiako, or either currently studying, or planning to study, in the field of early childhood education.
We are looking for a warm, reliable person to join us on a casual part-time contract. This role begins with a minimum of one day per week (7 hours), with the possibility of additional hours to help support our teaching team when we are attending professional development, on holiday, or unwell. Our hours are between 8am – 3pm, and each day you will be working alongside our small team of kaiako, supporting a maximum of 20 tamariki in our care.
Because Four Seasons Kindergarten is founded on the Steiner Waldorf philosophy, we ask that the right person be committed to learning and growing in this approach to education. You do not need to have prior knowledge, just a willingness to embrace a holistic way of supporting children’s development. Before you emailed us your CV letting us know you are interested, please take some time to look over our website to get an idea of our approach.
In return, you will be welcomed into a nurturing and supportive environment, where rhythm and relationship are central to our work. You will also be honoured with the living wage if you are an unqualified kaiako, or full pay parity if you are qualified, reflecting the value we place on all those who contribute to the life of our kindergarten.
If you are beginning your journey in early childhood education, or are a kaiako looking for a part-time/casual role, or perhaps you are someone who loves tamriki and feel drawn to a holistic, child-centred philosophy, we would love to hear from you.
