Location: Titirangi Rudolf Steiner School
We are pleased to announce a weekend mini-conference titled "Man as Symphony of the Creative Word", taking place at the Titirangi Rudolf Steiner School. This inspiring event will feature two well-known speakers in the New Zealand anthroposophical community: Rosie Simpson and Hartmut Borries.
Rosie Simpson brings decades of experience in Steiner education. She has served as a teacher at Hohepa Hawke’s Bay, a class teacher and principal at Taikura Rudolf Steiner School in Hastings, and currently sits on the Council at Taruna College in Havelock North. Many may remember her powerful presentation at the 100 Years of Waldorf Education celebration in Auckland in 2019.
Hartmut Borries is a priest of The Christian Community and is well-regarded across New Zealand for his deep insights and fresh perspectives. His thoughtful and often surprising approach promises to bring a unique dimension to the weekend’s theme.
Creative workshops will also be held on Saturday afternoon, offering hands-on exploration and reflection.
This event is open not only to early childhood educators, but to anyone who wishes to begin the year with an enriching experience rooted in anthroposophy—teachers, therapists, farmers, parents, and more are warmly welcomed.
